a little about me:

I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Born and raised here but lived in London and Edinburgh for a couple of years and then returned.

My passions are halloween, art, and architecture especially Victorian and Midcentury Modern. I’m very artsy and creative. I like doing a lot of things: drawing, painting, mosaics, ceramics, etching, pyrography, photography, journaling, mixed media… to name a few. And I have recently started paper collages. Makes a hell of a mess, but so worth it.

I drink tea all day long and have a serious addiction for crushed icecubes. I love orange flavoured chocolate and cheese. Both go very well with tea. I haven’t eaten meat since I was 11 – yes, that’s many moons ago. I wouldn’t call myself a vegetarian because I do eat a lot of pasta (eggs) and pizza wouldn’t be pizza if it didn’t have anchovis on it. I also find it very important to buy and use as much animal friendly products as possiblle.

I love watching movies. I love any kind of action/ thriller but my all time faves are halloween orientated flicks. The Addams Family, Beetlejuice, Hocus Pocus, Fright Night, the Witches of Eastwick, Witches etc etc etc. My favorite movie quote which cracks me up everytime:

Mrs. Peacock: “Is everything alright?”     Col. Mustard: “Yep. Two corpses. Everything is fine.”

My favorite time to watch a movie is Sunday morning at 5 AM. I get up, pop in the DVD, get my ironing board and the clean laundry from all week and iron away while watching the movie. Not everybody’s cuppa tea but works for me.

My girl Pepper, my love, my life. Watching over me from heaven. I miss you terribly.
